boomerang rant 1

First off i want to thank Comcast for rock solid high speed internet and the picture quality of all the digital channels. Channel 2 on a analog tuner looks like crap but channel 2 on both my Comcast high def DVR's my Tivo HD using a mcard and a new standard cable box (dch70) all look great and the high def channels for the most part really rock. There are a few high def channels that are way over compressed.
I have called customer service at least twice a month for the last 3 plus years to request boomerang. A lot of the times i get told no one in Nashville wants it. This is proven very wrong with a simple google search and a look at the customer forum at Comcast dot net. I also have been told by more than a few CSR's that a survey was done and again the line was no one wants it. Well i have yet to meet anyone that has ever been contacted to do a survey on boomerang or any other channel for the lineup here in Nashville.
I will put up a bounty of 50 bucks (i am on a fixed income) for anyone to show me proof of a survey and the results that shows more than 20 viewers at any time will watch FBN or Bloomberg.
Another excuse i hear from CSR's when i request boomerang is "this is the first time i have been asked this" ... The first couple of months of asking i can understand that statement but i keep hearing that from the same CSR's over and over again.
Four full time business channels four plus full time shopping channels but only 3 full time cartoon channels? And the number two rated one we can't have with no believable reason why.
Comcast in Atlanta and in po dunk places in Mississippi have boomerang but not in a top 50 TV market like Nashville? What makes the customers in other markets better than Nashville customers?
Right now we have G4 on 2 channels just how hard would it be to change one of them over to boomerang? Why have the same low rating content taking up two channels when one can be converted to a channel with much higher ratings? Or is this more about the nature of boomerang ... no commercials.
